Image for Windows es una utilidad para realizar una copia completa de un disco duro, convirtiéndolo a formato .IMG y permitiendo guardarla en otro disco (cómodamente en un único archivo).
Su uso es realmente sencillo, especificas de qué unidad quieres realizar la imagen y la ruta de destino y ya está en marcha el proceso.
Restaurar una imagen creada es igual o aún más sencillo, basta con seleccionar “Restore” e indicarle al programa dónde se encuentra la imagen creada (puede ser una ruta de un archivo o directamente de CD o DVD).
Es capaz de trabajar con sistemas FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2/3, ReiserFS.
