So you read the CORE.NFO and you don’t get anywhere. You went searching online and you found additional information to NOT patch the HOSTS file before registering the application AND to disable your internet connection through Device Manager PLUS unplug everything/turn off wireless… and it STILL doesn’t work, right?
That’s because that whole NFO’s install/register notes are bullshit. Frankly (and this is for the scenesters out there), CORE’s releases of UltraEdit and UEStudio should be NUKED until they rewrite the NFO, because you will NEVER EVER get it registered following those instructions. When I would put in “anything” into the “License ID” and “Password” fields, I would get an “Error 5008″, and NEVER get a button for “Offline Activation”. And therein lies the problem – you CAN’T put just “anything” into those fields, you have to put NUMBERS.
Not only that, but they have to be in a certain format, and a certain length. Namely, for “License ID”, use nine digits, with a space after every three digits, ex. 123 456 789. Then, for the password, you use an eight digit contiguous number, i.e. 12345678. THEN IT WILL WORK!
Believe me, I was doing all kinds of crazy shit: uninstalling with Revo, searching in the registry, deleting/editing the .spl file; THIS WILL WORK! I hope I saved all of you some sanity, keep the warez scene underground and never ever for commercial purposes!

Y con la conexion a internet desactivada le damos a registrar.

1.- El detalle esta que en las INSTRUCCIONES en los pasos 2 y 3 , te explica que debes desconectarte de internet.

Despues te dice que al registrarte utilices cualquier dato y CLICK en activar lo que sucede es que sale el error anterior menciondo y no sale la ventana para realizar la ACTIVACION OFFLINE

2.- Yo lo hice de esta manera:

* Primero yo no me desconecte de INTERNTER para NADA incluso que hice click hasta ACTIVAR.

* Como se podran dar cuenta me va a mandar un error de que mi ID ES INVALIDO Y QUE POR FAVOR VERIFIQUE MI CORREO ( debido a que se conecta a la pagina de ULTRAEDIT via internet ).

* NO IMPORTA porque cuando cierres dicha VENTANA , recien aparecera la ventana para realizar la ACTIVACION via OFFLINE.

* RECIEN AHORA DEBERAN DESCONECTARSE DE INTERNET e INTENTAR LA ACTIVACION VIA OFFLINE , aparecera dicha ventana con el codigo de usuario 1 y codigo de usuario 2 lo colocan en el KEYGEN y hacen click para generar las autorizaciones y rellenas y LISTO.

NOTA: Disculpen tanto palabreo para explicarlo y espero que les sea de gran UTILIDAD.

¿Alguna idea del porque?

A mi me pasa algo parecido a lo de @María Claudia,sigo los pasos parcheo el host, despues desde mi portatil desconecto la wifi, por lo tanto no tengo ningún cable(incluso he llegado a deshabilitar el adaptador wifi) y cuando le doy a activar sale el siguiente mensaje:

“Se ha producido un error al procesar la petición

Número de error:8
Descripción del error:INVALID SERVER RESPONSE
”

¿Que puedo hacer?

2. Desconecto el wifi

3. Ejecuto ultraedit, sale una pantalla con un boton de registrar, y lo pulso.

4. Muestra una pantalla que pide un id de licencia y una contraseña. Pongo un valor cualquiera (por ejemplo: 1111111 para los 2 campos).

5. Pulso el boton de activar.

Lo que muestra es: INVALID SERVER RESPONSE.

Que es lo que estoy haciendo mal?

Nota: empleo un Windows7 de 64 bits

PD. no olvides conectar de nuevo el cable.
